The 2011 season is here, but our social evenings in the Tiger Inn for a pint and a chat continue! Refreshments (!) are served and we don't only talk boats...

Please can we have some submissions, pictures etc from members for the website?

'A Safe Haven'

These three words oblige all coastal harbours and river authorities / communities to provide shelter and facilities to any ship or mariner in time of need, regardless of origin. This principal  has stood the test of time for centuries and is central to our associations' constitution....

Our main purpose is to provide, promote and support safe maritime activities while encouraging much greater use and care of the Beck and our waterways.

We will continue to build a  social program to encourage members to interact and create a common bond of co-operation and friendship amongst mutually interested people in the boating community with cruises in company, social evenings, barbecues, gala's, and wish to attract young people to involve them  in maritime activities on our waterways.....
